The International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) is the world's largest student association in the field of agriculture and related sciences. Founded in 1957 with only eight member countries, IAAS has grown significantly over the past 60 years. Today, it boasts 53 member countries and more than 10,000 active members.

Exchange

The Exchange Department is a department that facilitates student exchanges, allowing students to work directly in the agricultural sector and other multidisciplinary fields for a specific period on both national and international scales. Furthermore, it is responsible for developing foreign language skills, especially English, both conceptually and practically.

Human Resources and Development

Let's get to know Human Resources and Development!

Human Resources Development (HRD) operates actively through three main pillars: recruit, maintain, and develop. Within the organizational cycle, HRD is fully responsible for everything from screening top talent and fostering a harmonious internal working environment to sharpening the leadership and organizational skills of all members.

Before executing a major project like the IAAS Hunts For New Members (IHFNM), the HRD team deepens their recruitment strategies by learning directly from experienced experts. This preparation ensures that the entire selection and onboarding process for new members is carried out effectively, structured, and professionally. Through this comprehensive approach, HRD successfully builds competent future leaders while sustaining the organization's internal stability and quality over time.

Project is a department focused on developing village communities, from elementary school children to women in the agricultural sector. Our primary goal is to ensure that the communities involved in our Village Concept Project (VCP) have access to adequate knowledge and resources, so that they can become resilient and thrive.

Public Relations and Partnership

Let's get to know Public Relation and Partnership!

The PRP (Public Relations and Partnership) Department is responsible for maintaining IAAS's public image through social media management, media partnerships, and sponsorships. The department consists of four pillars: Partnership, Content Team, Brand & Media Team, and Social Media & Website. Each pillar follows its own operational guidelines and provides creative or communication services upon request from other departments based on its respective responsibilities. In addition to supporting other departments, PRP also leads several programs, including Agenture, IAAS Merch, IAAS Graduation, PRP Day, IAAS Live, and IAAS Creator Squad, all of which aim to strengthen IAAS's branding, engagement, and external relations.
