Human Resource Department (HRD) IAAS LC IPB has successfully done all the stages of IAAS Hunts For New Member (IHFNM) 2020. IHFNM is an annual event that aims to find and recruit IPB students as the candidate members of IAAS LC IPB. The 28th IHFNM was held online from August 25th until October 12th, 2020. The stages consist of promotion, form shortlisting, interview, and challenge.
The first stage of IHFNM is promotion that was carried out based on forecasting, geographic, and demographic market segmentation. Several platforms were utilized during promotion, such as Instagram, Twitter, Line Official Account, and Virtual Open House of MPKMB 57. As a way to gain more exposure, we are forging partnerships with Duta IPB and MPKMB 57. In this stage, we opened the registration form for IPB students as the first step to sign up to be a candidate member of IAAS LC IPB. There were about 480 people finally registered.
The second stage of IHFNM is form shortlisting. The registrants were asked to fill another form consisted of profile information, experience, skills, and many other additional informations. They were also asked to write an essay about their life lesson moment in life. We have amazing reviewers from IOP 24 – IOP 26 to review and select the chosen reviewees. As the assessment method, we used the STAR Method. In this stage, we reviewed about 290 essays and we got 120 people who passed this stage.
The third stage of IHFNM is an interview that was conducted for two days using the breakout room feature from Zoom Cloud Meetings. One interviewee was interviewed by two interviewers, with the help of one administrator in every room to do the timekeeping and manage the interview files. We got help from several active members and alumni as the interviewer and members of IOP 27 as the administrator. The assessment method of the interview was based on IAAS Leader’s Core and several additional criteria. For the final decision of the interviewees who pass, we conducted an interview meeting with the interviewers. In this stage, we got 74 out of 120 interviewees.
The fourth stage of IHFNM is a challenge. The challenge was carried out in the form of an online departmental internship. The candidate members were divided into 5 departments to plunge IAAS’ work environment by holding an event. This stage was aiming to validate their values and skills. As a way to guide and assess them, we got help from counselors of IOP 27 in each department. The assessment method was also based on IAAS Leaders Core and several skills. For the final decision of the candidate members who pass, we also conducted a challenge meeting with the counselors.
Hereby, we announce on October 12th 2020, we have selected 67 candidate members of IOP 28.
We’re so grateful that we got so much help from many parties, especially from FamilIAAS. Therefore, we are thankful and would like to appreciate every participation, help, support, and advice that has been given.
Hopefully, all the 67 candidate members of IOP 28 will grow and develop much here to bring the better improvement for IAAS LC IPB.
